Booking Marketplace Cloud Storage Migration
Moved a licensed multivendor booking marketplace off local disk storage onto S3-compatible object storage, and hardened its environment for a new host.
What we did
- S3-compatible storage configured on DigitalOcean Spaces
- Upload, update, and delete paths rerouted through one storage helper in every controller
- HTTPS enforcement and environment configuration for the new host
- Locked dependency builds for reproducible deployment
Outcome
Moved all file handling onto object storage using the same migration playbook MindForge applied across several Laravel platforms.
This was engineering work on a licensed platform. The base product belongs to its vendor; the deployment, migration and hardening described here are ours.
